Pour l'occasion le line-up du band sera légèrement différent. Phil, notre guitariste, ne pourra pas faire partie de la tournée, voici ce qu'il avait à dire:

"Je suis déçu de ne pas pouvoir participer à cette tournée avec le band mais je suis présentement à l'extérieur du pays et il m'est impossible d'être présent. Mon bon ami Louis S. Jacques du band Kemilon prendra la relève au niveau guitare tandis que Maxime et Félix se relaieront les vocals. Je serai de retour en force avec le band sous peu!"

Cette série de show sera unique pour Korpius alors ne manquez pas la chance d'y assister si vous en avez l'occasion!

We just posted another sample of the new album on our ReverbNation page. Check it out! This one is from 'At the Point of Death' a brutal song that has a thrash metal vibe to it!

We just finished putting the final touch to our first music video for the song 'Awaking Terror' off our new 2011 release 'Shades of Black'. Produced by Chad and Phil from Black Fawn Films, the clip was shot in Richmond, Qc last March. The result is great so wait no more and take a look at it here or on our YouTube Channel.

'Shades of Black' in stores TODAY!

‘Shades of Black’ hits the stores worldwide today! If you haven’t already grabbed a digital copy on the iTunes store be sure to do it now or to order a CD on either Amazon, Ebay, The Omega Order or the MMR Distro. Reviews are starting to flow in and the response for the album is amazing!

Friday was the release party of the album in our hometown. The response was awesome with over 250 metalheads showing up for our set! We will have videos from the show posted on our Youtube channel soon; keep an eye out for that. Big thanks to Derelict for being great as always. We’ll have the chance to play with these guys again during spring, check out the dates we have planned at this moment. More will be announced.

We had the chance to see the first clips from our video for the track ‘Awaking Terror’ (Black Fawn Films) and we can already say it will be epic material! Stay tune for a release really soon.

iTunes and Video Shoot

We shot the video for 'Awaking Terror' this weekend with Chad and Phil from Black Fawn Films. These guys are great and the result will be killer. Expect the video to drop in a week or two on Youtube. We'll keep you posted.

'Awaking Terror' sample streaming online !

A sample from the song 'Awaking Terror' is now streaming online on ReverbNation. We will be working all week-end with the Black Fawn Films team on a video shoot for this track. We'll keep you posted on further developments!

'Shades of Black' will have an early release on iTunes on March 21st. This is the only place where it will be available before the official release date of April 4th.

Finally, we will be updating our merch store with two new T-shirt models by the end of the week. They will be available at our next shows.

The countdown to the release of our new effort 'Shades of Black' continues. The title track has just been released on ReverbNation. This song is the opening track of the album and showcases a darker side of our music.

We just posted a new sample from the upcoming album 'Shades of Black' on Reverbnation. The album drops April 4th on Maple Metal Records and this new sample comes from the last song of the album, 'The Final Charge'.

Release party for Shades of Black

The release party for Shades of Black will be held in Sherbrooke on April 1st, at Bar le Magog. Special guests for that night will be Derelict (Montreal) and Paretic Dementia (Sherbrooke). Our merch wil be sold at discounted prices and the show is only 5$ at the door. We look forward to seeing you there.

We are proud to finally announce the release of our new album Shades of Black through Maple Metal records.

From Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles : " Canadian death metallers KORPIUS have announced they have inked a deal with Maple Metal Records. Maple Metal Records will release their debut full-length album in April entitled, Shades Of Black.

Shades Of Black was self-produced by Korpius. The album was recorded and engineered between July and December 2010 by Philippe at Cheriborg Studio in Orford, QC. The album was mixed and mastered by Mat Laperle at Red Dusk Studio, just outside of Montreal, QC.
